Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Homnukhe, and Shivam Khajuria in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. Despite introducing the new generation of the show, the makers have failed to impress their audience. In the last few episodes, it is seen that Armaan convinces Ruhi to marry his brother Rohit. After getting shot, Akshara convinces Armaan to marry Abhira and take care of her. 

Today’s episode starts with Armaan-Abhira and Ruhi-Rohit getting married. They simultaneously fulfill all wedding rituals. As Akshara breathes her last after blessing Armaan and Abhira, Manish feels dizzy, stumbles and falls. Everyone rushes to him and asks him if he is fine. He tells Suvarna that he felt as if he lost his life. Dadi tells him that it is understandable as it feels like that after the daughters leave their house. Manish remembers Akshara. Ruhi hugs Manish and tells him how even she feels like she lost her family and home. He tells her that she is very lucky to have gotten married into a big lovable family. As Manish completes Ruhi’s bidaai ritual, a mourning Abhira bids adieu to Akshara. Armaan also gets emotional. In the upcoming episode of the show, it will be seen that Ruhi stumbles during the griha pravesh ritual. Dadi says that it is a bad omen. Abhira tells Armaan that she is only his wife on paper and that she will never see him as her husband. Armaan keeps looking at her. Well, if reports are to be believed, the makers of the show have planned lots of drama and twists for the upcoming track. It has been hinted that after Armaan and Abhira return to the Poddar house, the family will be angry and not accept her as their daughter-in-law. They will prefer Ruhi more over Abhira. They might even go as far as to isolate the couple from the family. However, amidst it all, Armaan will stand by his wife just like he promised Akshara. While he might not be able to love her, he will become one of her closest friends and support her in her endeavours. 

According to a recent report by Bollywood Life, there is a possibility that the makers might show Abhir’s return in the serial. Having died alongside Abhimanyu during a landslide, it is being reported that his character might return to boost the TRPs of the show. The same report also states that in the upcoming track, Manish will get to know that Abhira is Akshara’s daughter. He will regret not reaching out to Akshara before and will be shocked to know about her death. He will do everything in his power to reconcile with Abhira, who will start to hate him.
